A new frontier awaits Sonic the Hedgehog in SEGA’s Sonic Frontiers – learn more with the latest Gamescom trailer for the game.
Seeking out the Chaos Emeralds on the Starfall Islands, Sonic will take part in open zone platforming through five overworld islands featuring forests, waterfalls, and desert landscapes. Side quests, puzzles, fishing, and familiar faces will all be included as well.
For those looking for more traditional Sonic levels, Cyber Space levels can be accessed through portals that feature 3D platforming. Players can also use its battle system and skill tree upgrades to gain the upper hand.

The game will come out for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on November 8, 2022. A Digital Deluxe Edition that includes the Explorer’s Treasure Box and a digital art book with a 25-track digital mini soundtrack will also be available for purchase.
