Sonic Frontiers: The Final Horizon Update Now Available

Now available for PC and consoles, Sonic Team and SEGA have released The Final Horizon Update to their title Sonic Frontiers.

As part of this free DLC update, players will be able to head back to Ouranos Island as they play through additional story segments. With Sage and Dr. Eggman assisting him, Sonic will set out to convert the Cyber Corruption into a previously untapped power source.

Sonic Frontiers – Into the Horizon

In addition to Sonic, Tails, Amy, and Knuckles are all playable. These are far from cosmetic changes; each character has their own unique powers and abilities.

Each character will be able to take on new challenges and can pick up new collectables, and a number of bug fixes and quality of life adjustments have been made.

New to Sonic Frontiers? Unlike other entries in the Sonic the Hedgehog series, this title features open-zone platforming that is spread across overworld islands. For diehard fans of the series, Cyber Space levels feature a number of 3D platforming segments that will test players’ skills.

The DLC and base game are available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
