Sonic Superstars Battle Mode Gameplay Overview Trailer Released

Learn more about the Battle Mode coming to Arzest and SEGA’s Sonic Superstars with the latest gameplay overview for the game.

Creating a prototype with customizable head, body, legs, and arms, players will then be able to use gold medals that have been collected throughout the title to purchase additional parts. Players can play locally with support for up to four different players, or can alternatively play online.

In this mode, players will earn points at the end of each round. From there, the player with the most points after three missions will be declared the victor. Switches can affect nearby objects, while monitors can provide additional perks.

The game will come out for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC on October 17.

Those that pre-order the Physical and Digital Standard or Digital Deluxe editions of Sonic Superstars ahead of its launch can get themselves an exclusive in-game LEGO Eggman character skin.

Meanwhile, those that sign up for SEGA’s newsletter by January 31 can get themselves a classic, redefined skin for Amy Rose in the title.
