Swords collide on screen and in real life with the latest video for Bandai Namco’s Soul Calibur VI, featuring renowned fencer Miles Chamley-Watson.
In the video below, the development team sought out to see how the sword fighting in Soul Calibur VI compares to real-life sword play. The producer of the game, Motohiro Okubo. met with fencer and Team USA Olympic Bronze Medalist Miles Chamley-Watson to find the answer to that question.

Soul Calibur VI will feature a number of weapons-based experts both old and new (including The Witcher’s Geralt). A tale of swords and souls eternally retold, new battle mechanics like the Reversal Edge will be included. Players will also be able to choose between multiple fighting styles in dynamic battles that will put their skills to the test.
The game will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 19.
