Soulslike Deathbound Launching in 2024

Set in a world where Faith and Science clash, Trialforge Studio and Tate Multimedia’s soulslike Deathbound will launch in 2024.

Taking place in Ziêminal and the great city of Akratya, callous fiends and cutthroat bosses have made this area home. A city of oblivion, this area is home to body-filled streets, arenas, and defiled places of worship. Players will have to bind themselves with the fallen warriors in an attempt to survive these fearsome conditions, dynamically transforming along the way.

Thankfully, players will have serious power at their support. One can take up arms as the mighty Therone, the crusader of Goddess Death, or can play as Agharos as they swing his hammer at the opposition. Olivia can rain lightning down onto foes, and Morphstrikes that utilize the combined powers of all the absorbed fallen can mean the difference between victory and defeat.

Bosses are based on the five stages of grief, and each party member’s affiliation in life affects their synergy in death.

Discover how players will be able to harness the power of steel and magic with the teaser trailer below:
