The ink-soaked battles of Nintendo’s Splatoon 3 will be open to all when it comes out for the Nintendo Switch on September 9, 2022.
This title allows players to dive into 4-v-4 Turf War battles, featuring a mix of new and returning stages. In this mode, teams of four face off to cover the most ground in their ink. New to the game is the Eeltail Alley stage and a new bow-shaped weapon called the stringer, which enables you to sling ink sideways and vertically.
A single-player campaign and the next iteration of the co-op Salmon Run mode will also be included. In the case of the former, players will join Agent 3 in a fight against the unruly Octarians and learn of the secrets behind a mysterious place called Alterna and the Fuzzy Ooze. Meanwhile, Salmon Run has players inking up with teammates to fend off waves of dangerous Salmonid bosses.
