Squad 44 Reign of Steel Update Now Available
Now available for Offworld and Mercury Arts’ Squad 44, the new Reign of Steel update brings with it the largest collection of enhancements and additions to date.
The Reign of Steel update for Squad 44 beings with it new vehicles and anti-tank guns like the Sturer Emil, the M36 Jackson, and the Sherman Jumbo (M4A3E2).
This Squad 44 Update also brings with it new in-game mechanics that further take advantage of new artillery. For example, infantry troops will now be able to operate machine gun turrets atop tanks and other vehicles, also catching a lift on the backs of tanks along with their squads for easier traversal.
Also included as part of Squad 44’s Reign of Steel update is the new game mode Frontline, which pulls elements from the Invasion, Offensive, and RAAS game modes.
Paying host to a dynamic and immersive combat experience, Frontline mode has attackers undertaking missions to progress the titular frontline across the map, all while defenders hold back the encroaching enemy.
Rounding things out as part of this update are quality of life improvements to Squad 44. These include a substantial improvement to graphical fidelity, alongside improvements to the in-game Arnhem Range.
