Star Ocean: The Divine Force Mission Report #2 Released

Learn more about D.U.M.A. and Vanguard Assault with the second mission report for tri-Ace and Square Enix’s Star Ocean: The Divine Force.

D.U.M.A. production model 004213 is an unusual creation that refers to itself as a life form, and can impart abilities to each member of the travel party. D.U.M.A. also has the ability to scan for treasure chests with its “Field Scan” ability, and also has the ability to scan enemies and their different attributes.

Meanwhile, Vanguard Assault is a defining feature of D.U.M.A., which allows for a wide range of abilities. One is able to access the power of flight in the wilds and in town. The VA Attack also allows for players to push back enemies and inflict heavy damage.

Star Ocean: The Divine Force’s score will be composed by series regular Motoi Sakuraba, with character art for the title designed by Akira Yasuda.

The game will come out for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on October 27, 2022.
