Players will be able to buckle up and take full control of starfighters like X-wings and TIE fighters with the upcoming release of EA’s Star Wars: Squadrons.
Set near the conclusion of the Galactic Civil War, players will be able to discover what it means to be a pilot in its single player story. Players will also be able to compete in intense 5v5 multiplayer dogfights, and can also unite with different members of your squadron and take part in monumental fleet battles.
Starfighters from both the New Republic and Imperial fleets will be included, including the A-wing and TIE bomber. The ability to modify your ship and divert power between its systems will also be included. Finally, players can use the cockpits of each ship to their advantage in a first-person perspective.

Star Wars: Squadrons will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC (via Origin, Steam, and the Epic Games Store), and VR (via the PlayStation 4 and PC) on October 2, 2020.
