The first of several planned updates to the Early Access release of Starship Troopers: Extermination have been announced by Offworld Industries and Sony Pictures Consumer Products.
The Mutated Sands: 0.3.0 Update adds the Fuel Depot for the Deep Space Vanguard to reclaim from the enemy. This area also features factories that provide multi-level environments to combat the Bugs.
A new weapon structure to base-building will also be included with the Machine Gun Emplacement. Inspired in design by the iconic weaponry used in the Starship Troopers film, it can decimate waves of Arachnids with ease.
Finally, this update includes Mutators, which serve as brand-new game variants that can adjust the parameters of every match.
