Street Fighter 6 Launching Worldwide in 2023

Here comes a new challenger – Capcom announced during yesterday’s State of Play that Street Fighter 6 will launch worldwide in 2023.

Powered by Capcom’s proprietary RE Engine (originally designed for Resident Evil 7: Biohazard), modes in this fighting game include Fighting Ground, World Tour and Battle Hub. For those just starting out, the Classic Control Type fans have come to know and love will be joined by a Modern Control Type that provides easier execution and a lower barrier of entry.

Also included is the Real Time Commentary Feature, which incorporates the voices of Fighting Game Community (FGC) commentators like Jeremy “Vicious” Lopez and Ryutaro “Aru” Noda. This feature will also support subtitles in 13 different languages.

The game will come out for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
