Street Fighter V Akira Kazama Teaser Released

Fresh from her stint with Rival Schools: United by Fate and Project Justice, see the first gameplay footage of Akira Kazama in Capcom’s Street Fighter V.

The younger sister of Daigo, she originally wore a motorcycle helmet and dressed in biker gear to pose as a boy and as Daigo’s younger brother. She fights with the Bajiquan Chinese martial art style, which is known for its elbow attacks, palm rushes, and shoulder smashes. Other moves in her repertoire include Cyclone Dance, Releasing Dance, Elbow Gate, Leaping Smash, and the Fractured Heaven Combo.

Previous cameos included Street Fighter Online: Mouse Generation, SNK vs. Capcom: Card Fighters Clash, and in the Heroes & Heralds mode of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. As an Easter egg, she shares her first name and fighting style with the main protagonist from the Virtua Fighter series.

As the first Rival Schools character in the mainline Street Fighter games, see her in action below:
