Tales of Arise Launch Trailer Released

The team at Bandai Namco has kicked off the launch of their JRPG Tales of Arise with a new launch trailer for the game.

In this title, players will lead Alphen and different heroes in a quest to free Dahna from the tyranny of Rena. An evolved combat system provides spectacle and direct player feedback based on the different actions of the player. This system consists of combos, Boost Strikes, and the always powerful Mystic Arts. To add subtle touches to its world, a new “Atmospheric Shader” system helps Tales of Arise evoke the look of a hand-drawn painting.

According to Abelina Villegas, Associate Brand Manager, from BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc.:

“Being the first title on this new generation of hardware, and with the adoption of new technology, Tales of ARISE marks a big change for the beloved Tales of Tales of series. Beyond its visual flourish, the team made sure that the story went beyond the ambitions of our previous entries. The narrative features mature themes rife with moral dilemmas and emotional weight. We hope that players will be engrossed in this new world.”

The game is available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
