Influenced by the rich musical traditions of Africa, the original soundtrack for Tales of Kenzera: ZAU combines orchestra, electronics, African traditional instrumentation, and soaring vocalizations that express both grief and joy.

These orchestral recordings were captured at Abbey Road Studios in London, along with Vienna Austria. 120 musicians, studios, and music teams were brought together in all.

Nainita Desai’s global approach towards Tales of Kenzera: ZAU’s score served as a spotlight of artists from South Africa and West Africa. This is on top of a choir that previously worked on the Black Panther soundtrack.
