Seven minutes of new footage have been uploaded for Bandai Namco’s remastered Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition.

The footage, which can be seen below, focuses on the protagonist Yuri Lowell as he takes on “the heartthrob with the steely gaze” Flynn Scifo in the coliseum. Also highlighted is the overworld, the combat system, the hunt for Aifreid’s treasure, and some of the new titles players can unlock.

Taking place in the world of Terca Lumireis, players take control of the former Imperial soldier Yuri Lowell as he forms the Brave Vesperia guild to aid the noble woman Estelle.

Included in the release of Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition are upscaled graphics, all of the content originally found in the Japan-exclusive PS3 version, and both English and Japanese voice tracks. The game will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on January 11, 2019.
