TEKKEN 8 Live-Action Trailer Released

Following up on today’s release of the TEKKEN 8 opening trailer, Arika and Bandai Namco have also released a live-action trailer for their upcoming fighter TEKKEN 8.

The live-action “Get Ready for the Next Battle” TEKKEN 8 trailer, which can be seen below, features Hafthor Bjornsson and the following TEKKEN pros:

  • Arslan Ash, Pakistan, 4 times TEKKEN world champion
  • Gen1us, France, Pro TEKKEN player, TV Host and streamer
  • KingJae, UK, Pro TEKKEN player and streamer
  • Sephiblack, Germany, Pro TEKKEN player and streamer

This trailer was designed to tap into the thrill and excitement people feel right before a fight or a competition.


Directed by Lukas TIELKE, this TEKKEN 8 trailer was done in collaboration with advertising agency BETC. In addition to YouTube, this live-action trailer for TEKKEN 8 will be featured on social media platforms, TV, Cinema, and Display out of Home.

Pugilists can get their fists on TEKKEN 8 when it releases for consoles (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S) and PC on January 26. Note that the first season of TEKKEN 8 DLC will have four characters, with Eddy Gordo leading the pack. Pre-orders can be found on the official TEKKEN 8 website, with multiple editions available for purchase.
