Deadlight is a new survival horror 2d side scrolling game that is coming out on August 1st in the US and is being developed by Microsoft Studios. This game launches in the middle of Xbox Live’s Summer of Arcade promotion and looks to be a limbo inspired delight. The game is set in a post apocalyptic Seattle and features puzzles as well as action battles with zombies. Check out Deadlight for only $15 on August 1st.

The developers want to take the 80’s atmosphere and make it raw and dirty. They want the game to be about survival horror and not about anything else flashy. Even the logo was made with atmosphere in mind. A psychological image on the old western style paper leads to information about the characters state of mind.
