The Final Shape Destiny 2 Supers Revealed In Class Trailers

Destiny 2’s The Final Shape expansion brings with it an arsenal of impressive new abilities with three new subclass Supers and Aspects, giving players the power to survive the upcoming battle against the Witness. Three new trailers have been released which showcase playtest footage of the Destiny 2 developers demonstrating these powerful new abilities for Titans, Hunters, and Warlocks.

The Titan’s Twilight Arenal hurls three void axes at enemies, pulling them in before exploding, weakening anything that survives the initial blast. The axes can also be collected and wielded by the Titan or their allies as melee weapons. The Unbreakable ability allows Titan’s to consume a grenade to create a shield that absorbs incoming damage before releasing a massive explosion.

The Hunter’s Storm Edge ability hurls a dagger that the Hunter can then use as a teleportation target, materializing at the location and dealing out massive area damage with a powerful whirlwind strike. The Ascension ability allows Hunters, while airborne, to consume a class ability and launch themselves higher into the air, damaging and jolting nearby enemies while also buffing their allies.

The Warlock’s Song of Flame power causes the Warlock to become radiant, overcharging their melee abilities and changing the grenade to a sentient Spirit of Flame that homes in on nearby enemies and explodes. The Hellion power allows Warlocks to summon a Solar Soul that launches flaming mortars at foes in the distance.

The epic conclusion to the Light and Darkness saga, Destiny 2: The Final Shape launches on February 27th, 2024. Pre-orders are available now, on all platforms, and an Annual Pass Edition is also available providing immediate access to a variety of Exotic items.
