The New The Division Trailer Makes It Look Like You Can Get A Dog Companion
With the Beta for The Division right around the corner, Ubisoft has brought out a new trailer to show off a few things for the game. We saw a bunch of new things in the trailer and we also got to see a dog in the base. Does this mean we will get to use a dog companion in The Division?

Will You Get A Dog Companion In The Division?

You might want to check out the new trailer first so you can see what we are talking about, it is linked here. Stop it at about the 50 second marker.

Now here you will see two key things that make us believe you will get a dog companion. The first thing is the Dalmatian dog near the table. This could just be the dog that the NPC near there own, or that NPC may be the guy who has the dog upgrades and where you can buy dogs.

The second thing you can notice is the “Canine Unit” selection box. This pretty much confirms that dogs will play some part of The Division. This could mean we get to bring a dog around with us out in the world to help us get loot and such. It could also mean you send it on missions to collect things for you, much like an Assassin’s Creed Black Flag mini game.

Personally, I believe you will be able to get a dog as a companion, that way they can charge you for more skins and cosmetic outfits in the micro transaction store! Look for The Division to launch March 8th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
