The Texas Chain Saw Massacre Technical Test Beginning May 25

The team at Gun Interactive has announced more details regarding The Texas Chain Saw Massacre’s upcoming Technical Test, which will begin on May 25.

The Technical Test will serve as an invitation to the gaming community from Gun Interactive and Sumo Nottingham ahead of them adding to the title’s finishing stage. The team will document the technical performance and capabilities of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre’s latest build, rather than preview the finished product.

According to the Gun team in a Community Hub post:

“A Tech Test differs from a Beta in that the Technical Test is more focused on stress testing the game and backend services, allowing our team to adjust server load and make any adjustments prior to launch.”Gun Interactive

The full release will come out for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game will also launch into Game Pass on Xbox and PC.
