The Witcher TV Series to be a “Very Adult Show”

Make sure to tuck the kiddies in – The Witcher showrunner Lauren Hissrich stated that Netflix’s The Witcher television series will be a very adult show.

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Hissrich said the following:

It’s a very adult show. I will add it was important to me that any violence or sex drives the story and is not there just for shock value. I think audiences are really savvy and know when we’re doing stuff to just shock them versus do stuff that really drives the story.”[/testimonials]

Featuring Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, season one of The Witcher is slated to air on Netflix during the fourth quarter of 2019.
