After spending years conquering Feudal Japan and Rome (on two separate occasions), fans of SEGA and Creative Assembly’s Total War series have been eagerly awaiting their next conquest. These armchair warriors are in for a real treat — the Total War series will continue with the latest entry Total War: ATILLA.
Total War: ATILLA takes the series to the Dark Ages, amidst the ruins of Scythia. Enter Atilla the Hun — a warrior king set on bring death and destruction in his wake. This adds an element of survival strategy to battle, one that puts players on the defensive.
This shift in focus isn’t the only thing Total War: ATILLA brings to the series. Much-requested family and skill trees have been added, along with street fights, civilians, dynamic fire, and even complete settlement destruction. According to project lead Janos Gaspar: “We want to push players to the limits of their skill to survive against the odds, and to love every minute of it.”
Fans can see these tweaks in action when Total War: ATTILA hits the scene in 2015 for PC and Mac.[ngg_images gallery_ids=”114″ display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_pro_horizontal_filmstrip”]
