Tribes of Midgard Coming July 27

Players will be able to “surthrive” the Viking way with the release of Norsfell and Gearbox Publishing’s Tribes of Midgard on July 27, 2021.

Things in this title are grim from the get-go – deadly spirits, mythical creatures, and gigantic brutes threaten to invoke Ragnarök. Enter the player, a mighty Einherjar that sets out to protect Midgard and become the ultimate Viking.

As players take this threat head-on, they’ll be able to slay beasts, discover dungeons, and build anywhere as they explore procedurally-generated lands. After choosing one’s class, players will also be able to seek resources to craft weaponry and armor. One can go at this challenge solo, or can form a tribe of up to 10 players in its online PvE co-op mode.

For those looking for replayability, limited time seasonal events will bring bigger challenges and mightier treasures to its endgame.
