Tropico 6 Beta Now Available

Tropico 6 - Gamers Heroes
Kalypso Media announced today that a closed beta for Tropico 6 is now available for all of those that pre-ordered the game on the PC.

The beta itself will feature a tutorial that spans the World Wars, Colonial, Modern Times, and Cold War eras. Two sandbox maps that show off the game’s new archipelago system, along with two full missions will also be included. Finally, additional features and content will be added to the beta closer to when the full game comes out.

To go alongside this news, the development team has released a new live action trailer:

Tropico 6 – El Presidente Wants You! (Beta Trailer – English)

Tropico 6 has players filling the shoes of either a peace-loving statesman or feared dictator that rules over the island state of Tropico through four different eras. Players will be able to create archipelagos, build bridges to help connect islands, and use new means of infrastructure and transportation to create a thriving area. Elections speeches will also make their return.

The full game will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Linux in 2019.
