Valorant Gets Two New Trailers to Mark Launch

Riot Games’ 5v5 character-based tactical shooter Valorant launches today – see it in action with the latest gameplay and cinematic trailers.

In this title, players will have to either plant or defuse the Spike (essentially a bomb) in a one-life-per-round, first to 13 series of matches. Players will choose an Agent and role of their choice (made up of Duelist, Initiator, Controller, or Sentinel), one that is armed with swift, adaptive, and (most importantly) lethal abilities that can help create opportunities to let your gunplay shine.

Weaponry includes sidearms, shotguns, submachine guns, machine guns, assault rifles and sniper rifles, among other weaponry. There are also automatic weapons such as the “Spectre” and “Odin” that have special recoil patterns that must be controlled by the player in order to be used effectively.

The agents at launch include Raze, Breach, Omen, Brimstone, Phoenix, and Sage, and all come from countries and cultures from around the world. As for maps, the title will launch with Bind, Haven, Split, and Ascent.
