DONTNOD Entertainment’s Vampyr is getting two new difficulty modes, starting today.
New to the game is Story Mode, which de-emphasizes combat and places a focus on the narrative. This setup offers an experience that features less challenging gameplay. Conversely, those looking to ramp up the difficulty can check out the new Hard Mode. In it, players will get less experience from killing enemies.
Alongside these two new modes comes a number of optimization tweaks and fixes, alongside support for Nvidia Ansel.
In Vampyr, players take control of Dr. Jonathan Reid who faces a moral dilemma on the streets of 1918-era London. Once a proud surgeon, he must decide whether he should feed on the life blood of others.
The game is now available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. You can read our review here.
