Voxel Building Adventure Trove Hits Xbox One & PlayStation 4

Trove News
Trion Worlds today announced the beginning of the Open Beta testing phase for the upcoming launch of the free-to-play, voxel-based action-exploration title, Trove, on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Already a huge hit on PC, Trove is an intriguing mix of voxel-based construction and creativity with action-adventure combat and persistent RPG character progression and rewards. Think Minecraft, but with a regular goal put in place – as opposed to the mindless gathering of endless materials.

To celebrate the Open Beta launch the team have announced a special event running throughout the Open Beta. Anyone that makes any kind of purchase will be treated to a neat little freebie in the form of Disaeon the Immortal, a legendary dragon mount. Furthermore it was confirmed that Open Beta progress will continue through to full release in early 2017 – there is no planned content or character wipe.

Originally launched for PC and Mac in 2015, Trove has entertained more than 5 million players since launch and pushes the boundaries of community-created content with procedurally generated worlds that are fully buildable and destructible.[/testimonials]
