Wave Race 64 Coming to Nintendo Switch Online Service August 19

Players will be able to take to the water when Wave Race 64 makes its way to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members on August 19.

Originally released for the Nintendo 64 back in 1996, Wave Race 64 has players taking to jet skis as they race opponents and navigate different buoys. Single-player modes include Championship, Time Trials, and Stunt Mode, each which can be played in Normal, Hard, Expert and Reverse difficulties.

The game has received acclaim over the years, selling 1.95 million copies in the United States as of December 2007. Things highlighted by critics include Wave Race 64’s fluid animations, realistic physics, clean waters, and textured polygons.
