CD Projekt RED has released an Xbox One X upgrade patch for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
The Xbox One X upgrade patch for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt offers both a 4K Mode and Performance Mode. With 4K Mode, the entirety of the game will run in 4K resolution and will feature enhanced shadows, ambient occlusion and texture filtering, and higher resolution textures and gameplay at 30 frames per second. Performance Mode will enable dynamic resolution scaling, rendering the game at a resolution of minimum 1080p and up to 4K, all while targeting 60 frames per second. Both modes supper Both modes will support HDR.
PlayStation 4 Pro users can expect an additional upgrade patch to be released in the future, one that offers support for HDR and a number of technical tweaks.
