Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World Coming May 28


The world of ININ Games and STUDIOARTDINK’s Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World will come out for the Western market on May 28, 2021.

In this title, Asha teams up with her companion Pepelogoo to free the four spirits confined by evil forces. The story will remain faithful to the original 1994 title, while the graphics will feature a cell-shaded 3D style. Play content has also been refined.

Original creator Ryuichi Nishizawa was brought on for the project. He is joined by Character Designer Maki Ōzora, music composer Shinichi Sakamoto, and Creative Director Takanori Kurihara. Japanese voice actress Ai Fairouz has also lent her talents to the game.

Welcome to Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World

The game will come out for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in North America, Europe, and Australia. The Steam version of the game will be released a month later, on June 29, 2021.
