Xbox Game Pass January 2022 Games Revealed

Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Embr, Outer Wilds, Spelunky 2, and The Anacrusis are just some of the titles coming to Xbox Game Pass in January 2022.

Beginning January 6, BioWare and Electronic Arts’ Mass Effect Legendary Edition contains all three titles in the Mass Effect action RPG trilogy. Visual enhancements, technical improvements, and gameplay adjustments have all been included.

Also coming to the service on January 6 is Muse Games’ Embr. In it, players will be able to become one of the most über firefighters money can buy. Along the way, players can fight fires, save lives, salvage goods, and make some hard-earned money.

Mobius Digital and Annapurna Interactive’s Outer Wilds, set to come to the service on January 6, is an open world mystery about a solar system that is trapped in an endless time loop. The title has received high praise, winning the 2020 BAFTA Games Awards and named Game of the Year 2019 by Giant Bomb, Polygon, Eurogamer, and The Guardian.

The following week, on January 13, players will be able to set off on an adventure with Mossmouth and BlitWorks’ Spelunky 2. Randomly-generated caves and ruins await players in this roguelike, along with countless secrets.

Finally, on January 13, the world of Stray Bombay’s four-player, cooperative first-person shooter The Anacursis will make its debut on Xbox Games Pass. Teaming up with friends, players will fight against alien hordes to unlock perks, weapons, and new ways to play.

Other titles coming to the service in January include The Pedestrian, Olija (you can read our review here), and Gorogoa.
