Playtonic Games and Team17 announced today that Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair is now in development.
A new platforming adventure hybrid, heroes Yooka and Laylee will team up and combine abilities to take on a series of 2.5D levels and solve puzzles in a 3D overworld. Players will help rescue Queen Phoebee’s Royal Beettalion Guard from each level, and will take on Capital Bs Impossible Lair.

The game will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC in 2019, and a boxed console version will also be available. More information will be unveiled during E3 next week.
