Space Hulk: Deathwing

Fans of the Warhammer 40k strategy board game Space Hulk are in for a real treat with the upcoming PC release of Space Hulk: Deathwing. The game is essentially a FPS dungeon crawler in space, where players can battle their way through space stations made up of various rooms, corridors, and doors that can be blocked off or opened up. We’re looking forward to experiencing this world in multiplayer, and just taking in the rich Warhammer 40k aesthetics.

Space Hulk: Deathwing will come out for the PC on December 9, 2016.

Just in time for the winter season, Ubisoft’s Steep is an open world extreme sports video game that places a focus on online multiplayer. Set in the Alps, players can experience the game in either a first- or third-person perspective as they explore and trick their way around its world. We’re looking forward to mastering its four different play styles, and also playing with everybody else online.

Steep will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on December 2, 2016.

Capcom Vancouver’s open world survival horror beat ’em up Dead Rising 4 takes the series back to Willamette, Colorado. The Last Guardian

After nine years of development, genDESIGN and SIE Japan Studio’s The Last Guardian is almost out. The story here is framed as a flashback, told by an older man recounting his experience as a young boy after he meets a griffin named Trico. We’re looking forward to seeing how the relationship grows between the boy and Trico, and are also looking forward to exploring its world.

The Last Guardian will come out for the PlayStation 4 on December 6, 2016.

What we at Gamers Heroes are looking forward to the most:

We are looking forward to playing The Last Guardian the most. After almost a decade of hype and speculation, we’re looking forward to diving into this world and experiencing another tale by the creative minds behind Shadow of the Colossus and Ico.

Casey Scheld

Casey Scheld has more than 15 years of experience in the gaming industry as a community manager, social media director, event specialist, and (of course) gaming editor. He has previously worked with gaming start-ups like Raptr, publishers like Konami, and roller derby girls at PAX West (check out Jam City Rollergirls)! Gamers Heroes is a passion project for him, giving him a chance to tap into the underground side of gaming. He is all too eager to give these lesser-known heroes of the indie space the attention they so rightly deserve, seeking out the next gem and sharing it with the world. Previously making appearances at events like CES, GDC, and (the late) E3, he is all too happy to seek out the next big thing. For those that want to talk shop, send over a tip, or get an easy win in a fighting game of their choosing, be sure to check out his social media channels below.
