Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada

[line style=’solid’ top=’10’ bottom=’10’ width=’100%’ height=’1′ color=’blue’] A spinoff of Samurai Warriors 4, Koei Tecmo’s Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada retains the same hack-and-slash play of the main series. New to the game are long-term battles and a hub area full of activities and side quests called “Castle Town.” We’re looking forward to the game’s time-tested gameplay, and also wiping out hundreds of enemy troops with ease.

Samurai Warriors: Spirit of Sanada will come out for the PlayStation 4 and PC on May 23, 2017.

An update to last year’s Guilty Gear Xrd: REVELATOR, Rev 2 has two new fighters in the form of Answer and Baiken, along with a number of gameplay tweaks. We’re looking forward to experiencing the tweaks made to the game, and also seeing how these two new fighters fare.

Disgaea 5 Complete

[line style=’solid’ top=’10’ bottom=’10’ width=’100%’ height=’1′ color=’blue’] An update to the 2015 PlayStation 4 original, NIS America’s Disgaea 5 Complete contains all of the DLC from the original release in one package. The game tells the tale of Void Dark, as he devastates numerous Netherworlds after coming to power. The star of the show is Killia, a young demon that seeks revenge. We’re looking forward to diving back into this deep strategy RPG, utilizing fusion skills, its revenge system, and more.

Disgaea 5 Complete will come out for the Nintendo Switch on May 23, 2017.

Injustice 2

[line style=’solid’ top=’10’ bottom=’10’ width=’100%’ height=’1′ color=’blue’] Developed by WB Games and NetherRealm Studios, Injustice 2 features combo-heavy fighting not unlike that found in Mortal Kombat. New to this release is the Gear System, which drops loot and rewards players with costume pieces and equipment that can be used to customize appearances, abilities, and stats. We’re looking forward to taking control of our favorite DC fighters, and also mastering its combat.

Injustice 2 will come out for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 16, 2017.

Prey

[line style=’solid’ top=’10’ bottom=’10’ width=’100%’ height=’1′ color=’blue’] A reimagining of the 2006 video game of the same name, Bethesda and Arkane Studios’ Prey stars Morgan Yu and her experiences on the moon-orbiting space station Talos I. Players can amass an array of different powers over time, and can even experience multiple endings. We’re looking forward to experiencing its open world, and also blasting down the enemies that inhabit its world.

Prey will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on May 5, 2017.

What we at Gamers Heroes are looking forward to the most:

[line style=’solid’ top=’10’ bottom=’10’ width=’100%’ height=’1′ color=’blue’] Gamers Heroes is looking forward to Prey the most. It’s design as a 3D MetroidVania game seems interesting, and its atmosphere is truly one of a kind.
