5 Games We’re Looking Forward to in April

EDF Iron Rain - Gamers Heroes

D3 Publisher and Sandlot bring players back to the world of EDF with the release of Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain. The graphics powering the title have received a complete overhaul, and players can take control of the Trooper, Jet Lifter, Heavy Striker, and Prowl Rider in battle. We’re looking forward to blasting away this alien menace, and also tooling around with its robust character customization functionality.

Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain will come out for the PlayStation 4 on April 11.

World War Z - Gamers Heroes

Saber Interactive and Focus Home Interactive have teamed up to bring the world of World War Z to the world of gaming. This four player shooter pits players against swarms of the living dead in Moscow, New York, and Jerusalem, with hordes behaving like real crowds. We’re looking forward to bringing our friends along for the ride, and playing around with the six different classes the game has to offer.

World War Z will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on April 16.

Zanki Zero - Gamers Heroes

The latest project from Yoshinori Terasawa, Spike Chunsoft and Lancarse’s Zanki Zero: Last Beginning transports players to the bright ruins after the destruction of the Earth. A survival themed role playing game at heart, players must obtain SCORE points by fighting and defeating enemies. We’re looking forward to getting to know the personalities of these eight different characters.

Zanki Zero: Last Beginning will come out for the PlayStation 4 and Steam on April 9.

Mortal Kombat 11 - Gamers Heroes

Players will be able to test their might once again with the release of WB Games and NetherRealm Studios’ Mortal Kombat 11. Fatalities and Brutalities will make their return in this fighter, along with new gameplay features like the Fatal Blow and Krushing Blow. 25 playable characters are also confirmed at launch, including fan favorites like Raiden, Scorpion, and Sub-Zero. We’re looking forward to throwing down and experiencing its story mode.

Mortal Kombat 11 will come out for the PlayStaiton 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on April 23.

Days Gone - Gamers Heroes

The latest title from Sony Interactive Entertainment and SIE Bend Studio, Days Gone pits players against the Freakers in an open world environment. Taking control of drifter Deacon St. John, players must fight these freakers, along with bears, wolves, and even other humans. We’re looking forward to getting absorbed into its world, and also modifying Deacon’s motorcycle.

Days Gone will come out for the PlayStation 4 on April 26.
