5 Games We’re Looking Forward to in April
Dark Souls III
Prepare to die once again. As the newest entry in FromSoftware and Namco Bandai’s Souls series, Dark Souls III brings back the challenging gameplay the series is known for. We’re looking forward to exploring its interconnected world, as well as trying out its new features like the “Ready Stance.”Dark Souls III will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on April 11, 2016.
Quantum Break
Remedy Entertainment has big plans for action-adventure fans with the release of Quantum Break. Players take control of James Joyce, who has the power to freeze time at will. We are looking forward to playing with Joyce’s time-bending mechanics, as well as the “digital show” segments.Quantum Break will come out for the Xbox One and PC on April 5, 2016.
Ratchet & Clank
Tying into the movie of the same name, Insomniac Games’ Ratchet & Clank stars, well, Ratchet & Clank as they save the world. A reimagining of the original game, we’re looking forward to all of its weaponry and the general humor and polish the series is known for.Ratchet & Clank will come out for the PlayStation 4 on April 12, 2016.
Star Fox Zero
Nintendo and PlatinumGames are teaming up to bring players Star Fox Zero, the latest entry in the Star Fox series. Players take control of Fox McCloud as he takes on Andross’ forces in Corneria, Zoness, Titania and more. We’re looking forward to the new Arwing features, as well as the branching paths and arcade-like gameplay.Star Fox Zero will come out for the Wii U on April 22, 2016.
DiRT Rally
PC gamers had their fun, now it’s time for console gamers to have their turn. Codemasters’ DiRT Rally is bringing its signature racing style, rendered at 1080p and 60 frames per second. We’re looking forward to diving into its asynchronous multiplayer across its 36 stages.DiRT Rally will come out for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on April 5, 2016.
