Last month was a strong month for video games, and this month looks to be more of the same. On that note, here are 5 games we’re looking forward to in February. Oh, and we won’t make you click through five pages to look at the entire list.
5 Games We’re Looking Forward to in February
Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st]
Co-developed by Ecole Software and French-Bread, PQube and Arc System Works are bringing the latest version of their fighter Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st] to consoles. Featuring new gameplay systems and new characters, this update re-balances the gameplay and introduces the new Cross Cast Veil Off system. Also included is the new “Chronicle Mode” story mode and a Combo Challenge mode. We’re looking forward to throwing down in this fighter and its silky smooth action.
Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st] will come out for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita on February 9, 2018
Secret of Mana
A remake of the 1993 Super Nintendo classic, Secret of Mana updates the classic action RPG with 3D graphics and updated controls. Players can choose to control Randi, Primm, or Popoi as they set out to re-energize the Mana Sword by visiting the eight Mana Temples. We’re looking forward to reliving this quest, and also experiencing the game in co-op.
Secret of Mana will come out for the PlayStation 4 and Steam on February 15, 2018.
Dynasty Warriors 9
The latest entry in Koei Tecmo and Omega Force’s hack-and-slash series, Dynasty Warriors 9 changes things up with both stealth elements and an open world environment that can be explored by foot, horseback, or boat. Both a day-night cycle and a dynamic weather system will also be included. We’re looking forward to taking down enemies by the hundreds, and also exploring this lively world.
Dynasty Warriors 9 will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam on February 13, 2018.
Metal Gear Survive
Taking the series in a slightly different direction, Konami’s Metal Gear Survive is a survival action-adventure game that is set in an open world and features a cooperative multiplayer mode. The plot takes things in a new direction too, dealing with wormholes to alternate dimensions and zombie-like beings known as “creatures.” We’re looking forward to experiencing this game online and seeing exactly which direction the story will go.
Metal Gear Survive will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam on February 20, 2018.
Shadow of the Colossus
Developed by Bluepoint Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, this remake of Shadow of the Colossus features ultra-high definition art assets. Everything has been remade from the ground-up, and a new control scheme will be available. Despite this, the ultimate goal of taking down the different Colossi still remains the same. We’re looking forward to seeing the changes made to the remake, and also experiencing the game in 4K resolution.
Shadow of the Colossus will come out for the PlayStation 4 on February 6, 2018.

We are looking forward to Shadow of the Colossus the most. The original PlayStation 2 release was a classic, and the modern day trappings look to make a great game even better.
