5 Games We’re Looking Forward to in February
Love is in the air this month, along with a number of quality video game releases. On that note, Gamers Heroes takes a look at 5 games we’re looking forward to in February. Oh, and we won’t make you click through five pages to look at the entire list.
5 Games We’re Looking Forward to in February
The latest in the God Eater series, Bandai Namco’s God Eater 3 once again pits players against the terrifying Aragami. Players will be able to make use of a number of different God Arcs, and dual wielding will make its debut in this title. We’re looking forward to trying out all of these new God Arcs (especially the close-range Biting Edge), and taking on Aragami both new and old.
God Eater 3 will come out for the PlayStation 4 and Steam on January 8.
A game years in the making, Sumo Digital and Microsoft Studios’ Crackdown 3 will finally launch this month. Terry Crews has come along for the ride as Commander Jaxon, and the “Skills for Kills” system from previous games makes its return. New to the game though is the “Gangs Bite Back” system, where a boss or Kingpin’s attention can be drawn by destroying the elements and locations they specialize in. We’re looking forward to enjoying the mass-scale destruction that will make its way to the city of New Providence.
Crackdown 3 will come out for the Xbox One and PC on February 15.
It’s a whole new world in Ubisoft’s upcoming shooter Far Cry: New Dawn. Players will take control of a customizable character in a new version of Hope County, Montana that exists 17 years after “the Collapse.” Players will be able to embark on treasure hunts, and can also liberate different enemy outposts and encampments. We’re especially looking forward to the Expeditions, which can be completed with other players.
Far Cry: New Dawn will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on February 15.
4A Games and Deep Silver dives back into the world of Dmitry Glukhovsky’s novels with the release of Metro Exodus. Players will be dropped into the post-apocalyptic wasteland of the former Russian Federation, and join the Spartan Rangers as Artyom. Both survival horror and stealth elements take center stage, along with a number of new hazards. We’re looking forward to traversing its atmospheric world.
Metro Exodus will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on February 15.
Bioware and Electronic Arts will bring gamers the world over to a “contiguous open world” with the release of Anthem. Each player will take the role of a Freelancer that dons a fully customizable exosuit called a Javelin. The ability to build relationships with different NPCs has also been included, along with a central meeting point known as Fort Tarsis. We’re looking forward to experiencing the title’s co-operative multiplayer elements and seeing what type of customization we can get our hands on.
Anthem will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on February 22.
