5 Games We’re Looking Forward to in June
June brings E3 and a slew of new game announcements, but there’s still a fair amount of releases coming sooner rather than later. On that note, we at Gamers Heroes take a look at 5 games we’re looking forward to in June. Oh, and we won’t make you click through five pages to look at the entire list.
5 Games We’re Looking Forward to in June
XSEED Games is porting the 2014 JRPG The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II to the PlayStation 4, bringing a number of improvements along the way. The turn-based battles and PhyreEngine game engine return, but new to this version is 4K resolution, additional English voice acting, and other graphical enhancements. We’re looking forward to diving into its story, which has players recruiting allies to prepare for war.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II will come out for the PlayStation 4 on June 4.
The Phantom Thieves return to the world of video games in the upcoming release of Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth by Atlus. This dungeon crawler has the cast of Persona 5 venturing through movies, meeting allies along the way. We’re looking forward to the fanservice, as it will feature characters from Persona 3, 4, and 5.
Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth will come out for the Nintendo 3DS on June 4.
Nintendo is putting game creation into the hands of players once more with the upcoming release of Super Mario Maker 2. Much like the original game, players will be able to create custom courses by utilizing assets from various games across the Super Mario franchise. New to this release are elements from Super Mario 3D World, along with other content. We’re looking forward to building the levels of our dreams and sharing them with the world.
Super Mario Maker 2 will come out for the Nintendo Switch on June 28.
Players will be able to race to their heart’s content with the release of Beenox Interactive and Activision’s Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled. Featuring characters from the Crash Bandicoot series, power-ups and wacky races are the norm. Online multiplayer has been included, and players will also be able to choose from different karts. We’re looking forward to seeing all the content this game has to offer.
Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on June 21.
The world of Kamurocho comes alive once again with SEGA’s Judgment. Players don’t play as Kazuma Kiryu this time around; rather, the game puts the spotlight on private detective Takayuki Yagami as he sets out to investigate a serial murder case. Also new to the game is an investigation mode, which will have players finding the traces of the criminal. We’re looking forward to diving into its world, and getting engrossed in its story.
Judgment will come out for the PlayStation 4 on June 25.
