Though E3 is coming up, there are a number of great releases that are set to come out in the coming month. On that note, here are 5 games we’re looking forward to in May. Oh, and we won’t make you click through five pages to look at the entire list.
5 Games We’re Looking Forward to in May
Developed and published by Funcom, Conan Exiles will finally leave Early Access in May. An open world survival title, players will explore life in the Hyborian Age, navigating The Exiled Lands after being rescued by Conan the Barbarian. By utilizing natural resources, player must manage thirst and hunger gauges, all while warding off hostile enemies (including other players). We’re looking forward to customizing our character to our liking, and also seeing what the world has in store.
Conan Exiles will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on May 8, 2018.
Dragon’s Crown Pro
An update to 2013’s PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita release, Atlus and Vanillaware’s Dragon’s Crown Pro will make its way to the PlayStation 4. A side-scrolling beat-em-up inspired by titles like Capcom’s Dungeons and Dragons: Shadows over Mystara, players will take control of one of six classes and take down enemies.
New to this release are high definition graphics with 4k resolution support, a re-recorded soundtrack performed by a live orchestra, online cross-play and save compatibility with the PlayStation 3 and Vita versions, Japanese and English audio options, and all original downloadable content. We’re looking forward to experiencing all of the new features this game has to offer with a friend or three.
Dragon’s Crown Pro will come out for the PlayStation 4 on May 15, 2018.
State of Decay 2
Developed by Undead Labs and published by Microsoft Studios, State of Decay 2 builds on the zombie survival gameplay aspects of the original. Set in a third-person perspective, players can play cooperatively with up to three other players. We’re looking forward to working together and fighting for survival.
State of Decay 2 will come out for the Xbox One and PC on May 22, 2018.
Dark Souls Remastered
Players will be able to return to Lordran with the upcoming release of FromSoftware, Bandai Namco, and QLOC’s Dark Souls Remastered.
New to this release are higher quality textures, support for 4k resolution and 60 FPS, host dedicated servers, and an increase of the multiplayer cap to six. We’re looking forward to exploring its open world environment once more, taking down all that stand in our way.
Dark Souls Remastered will come out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on May 25, 2018.
Detroit: Become Human
Developed by Quantic Dream, written by David Cage, and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, Detroit: Become Human’s plot revolves around the androids Kara, Connor, and Markus, all who have their own backstories and missions. The fate of these three comes down to dialog choices the player can make throughout the game. We’re looking forward to seeing where the story takes us in this title.
Detroit: Become Human will come out for the PlayStation 4 on May 25, 2018.
