Cosplay Wednesday – Advance Wars’ Orange Star MD Tank

Originally making their appearance on the Game Boy Advance, WayForward’s Advance Wars 1 + 2: Re-Boot Camp will soon hit the Nintendo Switch. As players get ready to hit the battlefield, Gamers Heroes takes a look at a cosplay fans will no doubt be familiar with.

D-slim hits the front lines with his unique cosplay of Advance Wars’ Orange Star MD Tank. Red construction paper was used to make the front turret, with the whole tank layered with colored cardboard. As for the headlights, two empty rolls of masking tape were used.

These pictures in particular were featured in Nintendo Gamer Magazine in March of 2012. While the outfit also made an appearance at Anime Expo, it took a beating. No need to worry though – he used some red tape to patch things right back up.
