Despite not being out for another week, fans are flocking to the Sony Online Entertainment’s Dragon’s Prophet like moths to a flame. Some are playing the beta, others are creating fan-art, while still others are creating award-winning cosplay.
Laura ‘Lightning’ Jansen recently won Infernum Productions’ Dragon Cosplay Summit Contest 2013 with her Dragon’s Prophet costume. Crafted entirely by hand, her costume netted her more than 2,500 Euros in prizes. On top of that, she will be able to design an additional, virtual costume for Dragon’s Prophet itself.
As to why she chose this particular armor, this is what she had to say:
“I fell in love with the armor the moment I saw it. The most important thing for me is that I like the design of the character and that it suits me. This armour from Dragon’s Prophet is very feminine and I really love the strong, dark colours.”
