Hideo Kojima’s Metal Gear Solid series is “surviving” by a thread with the upcoming release of Metal Gear: Survive. While we can’t say we’re looking forward to this release, we do appreciate this fine cosplay from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
Yashuntafun has been a big fan of the Metal Gear Solid series since the PlayStation 1 release. She was drawn to Ocelot for all of the crazy things he says and does, and decided to cosplay as him for her first Metal Gear cosplay. The belts, bandoliers, and holsters were all made from the same vinyl, and the decorative stitching was all done by hand with embroidery floss.
