Metroid fans were thrilled this past Tuesday when Nintendo announced the triumphant return of Samus Aran’s Zero Suit Samus form. Packing some new moves and a new set of heels, she is ready to come back onto the scene. In honor of this, Gamers Heroes has tracked down a real-life version of Nintendo’s intergalactic bounty hunter.
Yukilefay (aka Thaís Yuki Jussim) has made a name for herself as “that Samus girl.” Basing her design off of the Metroid: Zero Mission version of the character, Yukilefay made this costume herself and has even does shoots to help charity.
Yukilefay also expanded her talents, so she crafted herself a cosplay of Samus Aran’s Varia suit. Packing 73 high bright LEDs, EVA foam, and enough fiberglass to choke a horse, her outfit is true to form.
