Cosplay Wednesday – Mystery Science Theater 3000’s Dr. Forrester

A staple of bad move lovers everywhere, the world of Rifftrax is entering the world of video games this month. In honor of this title, Gamers Heroes takes a look at a cosplay from one of the crew’s previous projects, Mystery Science Theater 3000.

As one of her favorite TV shows, kelldarian’s cosplay of Mystery Science Theater 3000’s Dr. Forrester was a natural fit. The Halloween 2012 office theme was “mad scientists,” so she knew what to do.

To make the costume, she got herself some store-bought fabric and threw together a simple lab coat. From there, she then heat-transferred the Deep 13 logo onto it. This shot was taken in 2017, complete with the Tom Servo puppet she got as a gift.

He has previously worked with gaming start-ups like Raptr, publishers like Konami, and roller derby girls at PAX West (check out Jam City Rollergirls)! Gamers Heroes is a passion project for him, giving him a chance to tap into the underground side of gaming. He is all too eager to give these lesser-known heroes of the indie space the attention they so rightly deserve, seeking out the next gem and sharing it with the world. Previously making appearances at events like CES, GDC, and (the late) E3, he is all too happy to seek out the next big thing.
