Nintendo’s Metroid series of games has been around for more than 25 years, but leading lady Samus Aran almost never gets a chance to shine in the spotlight. Playing second fiddle to Mario and Link, this bounty hunter is long overdue for a new title. Until we get a new entry in the series, we have fine cosplays like this one to enjoy.
Nek “neko-tin” has been in a number of different photoshoots sporting a number of different cosplays. Her cosplay of Metroid’s Samus Aran (Zero Suit edition) was shown off at Panicon!, but those who want to meet this real-life doppelganger best pack their bags: she is based out of Kaliningrad, Russia. Diehard fans can also see her in Contemporary Russian Photography: From Mystery to Poetry and Back, a project about the people in cosplay.
