The most time consuming element of liberating all of the Bell Towers in Far Cry 4 is the distance between them. Even using vehicles with the Auto Drive feature takes some time but there is a faster way – and you can do it very early.
How To Liberate Bell Towers Quickly
Progress through the main story until you’re introduced to Outposts. Take control of the first outpost (throw a knife at the gate holding the elephant is quick method) and then return to the Outpost after the cutscene. Check to the right exit of the Outpost, right as you leave the quarters in that area and you’ll see a… well, I’m not sure of its official title but it’s a helicopter type vehicle.
You can use this vehicle to travel to the various Bell Towers and unlock their benefits very quickly. If you’re careful you can actually land on the same platform that includes the Radio you must interact with, removing the task of combat entirely.
You can only use this method to complete the Southern Kyrat Bell Tower’s at the start as the North is not accessible. There’s a large mountain range that is too high for the helicopter to traverse and the road that leads the way is also not available.
This does mean however that you can still unlock 10 Bell Towers in under an hour, unlocking plenty of free weaponry and providing a good amount of skill points and experience. This same method works once you unlock more of the map through the main campaign. Below is what you unlock when you successfully complete a specific number of towers.
Once you progress through the Balance of Power missions you will gain access to Northern Kyrat. The exact same method works for the North as it did the South. When you unlock the Northern part of Kyrat you will begin at King’s Bridge. Instead of traveling all the way back you can take the nearest Bell Tower to the South East and use the Buzzer that spawns there once you take it.

The vast majority of the Bell Tower’s in Far Cry 4 are incredibly easy to infiltrate and just as simple to climb. However when you reach Northern Kyrat you may struggle to find the entrance to one of them. I’ve listed the location of the one I struggled with.Bell Tower North Of Sahi Jile Checkpoint Outpost – This is the most Northern Bell Tower in Northern Kyrat. The outside is all blocked off. To enter the tower and begin your ascent you must find the small underground passage. It is hidden behind some barrels to the East, very near to the Bell Tower. You should see a grapple icon when you get near.
