Nioh: Dragon Of The North Kodama Location Guide
The Kodama make a return in the DLC for Nioh, Dragon Of The North. There are 25 in total and some are easy to find while others can be very difficult to spot. Check out this guide to find them all in the Tohoku Region.
Nioh Tohoku Region Kodama Locations
Yokai Country Kodama Locations
Yokai Country Kodama 1 – Starting from the first Shrine, head up the stairs until you get to the second left. Down the path there you will find your first Kodama.
Yokai Country Kodama 2 – This time start the the second Shrine and go down to the area with the water and the Kappa in it. Behind the first large tree on the right you will find the second Kodama.
Yokai Country Kodama 3 – From the second Kodama head to the right and look down below for more Kappa and a path you can drop down to. Drop down the and the Kodama is right next to the Spirit stone on the wall.
Yokai Country Kodama 4 – From the third Shrine, follow the path to the left and go around the big tree. Kill the snake head enemies and near the large roots of the tree you will find the Kodama nestled in.
Yokai Country Kodama 5 – From the fourth Kodama keep going down the path but keep and eye on your left. There will be a small opening that leads down to a shortcut tree you can push over. Next to the tree you will find the Kodama.
Yokai Country Kodama 6 – From the fourth Shrine, follow the path up to the wooden fence and break the boxes near it, the Kodama is there.
Yokai Country Kodama 7 – The next Kodama is near the double archer tower in the level. You have to climb up the ladder and go right to the edge, you can see the Kodama against the fence in the right corner. Press X at the edge to do a bit of a dash and you can land on the edge of the platform below.
Yokai Country Kodama 8 – Now go back to the double archer Towers and enter the house on the left, there was one of the large Yokai in there before. In the left corner, break the vases and you will find another Kodama.
Yokai Country Kodama 9 – After the double archer towers you will make your way to a wooden bridge you need to cross. on the other side there is a large Yokai that blocks your path. Kill it and go down and around to find a ladder. At the top of this ladder you will find the Kodama behind some boxes.
Yokai Country Kodama 10 – The last one is right before the boss room. Instead of going up the stairs, go to the right corner behind the building and you’ll find the last Kodama.
One-Eyed Dragons Castle Kodama Locations
The One-Eyed Dragon’s Castle Kodama 1 – This one is pretty close to the start of the level. Keep progressing until you reach the an area with a few explosive barrels. To the left there is a path, follow that around and go up a slope to find the first Kodama.
The One-Eyed Dragon’s Castle Kodama 2 – This one is right near the Yokai that pushes two giant snowballs down towards you. After you kill it, go left and follow the tiny path up and around for another Kodama.
The One-Eyed Dragon’s Castle Kodama 3 – From the second Kodama, follow the path up and go through the gate. Go forward a bit and look right to see a large Yokai, kill it and the Kodama is behind it.
The One-Eyed Dragon’s Castle Kodama 4 – From the second Shrine, follow the path up until you can make a left or keep going straight. Go straight and enter the building with the large Yokai and the other soldier. Kill them and up the ladder is your next Kodama.
The One-Eyed Dragon’s Castle Kodama 5 – The next one is after the third Shrine. When you get to the open area with the Yokai and soldiers patrolling, keep going until you can go left up a small slope to two enemies. One of them will turn into a snake headed enemy. Follow the building around to the left and in the corner you can find the Kodama.
The One-Eyed Dragon’s Castle Kodama 6 – You need to beat the first boss and get the key for the last Kodama. Enter the door next to the third Shrine and head to the right. Go into that center garden area with a little statue in it, the Kodama is there.
A Gilded Deception
A Gilded Deception Kodama 1 – This one is right near the start. Climb up the stairs and kill the Yokai to the right. Follow the wall to the left and you will find the Kodama.
A Gilded Deception Kodama 2 – The next Kodama is after you go through the doors near the first Shrine. Clear out the temple and go out the back. Follow the path through the snow and there will be a slope on the left that leads up to two trees.Behind the second tree you can find the Kodama.
A Gilded Deception Kodama 3 – The next Kodama Is down below where you found the second one. Head down to the frozen river and on the right side you will find it. Be careful of the cracked ice, you will fall and die if you step on it.
A Gilded Deception Kodama 4 – Kodama number 4 is very close to the doors you open that lead you back to the first Shrine. Instead of going through the doors go to the building near there but don’t enter. Instead go around to the left and in the grass you can barely see the little Kodama sticking out.
A Gilded Deception Kodama 5 – Kodama number 4 is in the small village area, where the two umbrella Yokai attack you. IN the left house you will find the Kodama behind the some vases.
A Gilded Deception Kodama 6 – This next Kodama is found near the second Shrine. Go down the ladder near the Shrine and cross the river. You can find the Kodama near some rocks there.
A Gilded Deception Kodama 7 – Again, start at the second Shrine and this time go more into the area. When you get to the road, take a left and follow the path to the downed tree to find the Kodama.
A Gilded Deception Kodama 8 – Number 7 is right around the corner from the last Kodama. Go into the area on the right and look to the left and in the corner you will see the Kodama.
A Gilded Deception Kodama 9 – Now head back to the road and this time go all the way to the end by the door you need to open. If you look to the right you can see the Kodama down below.
