Castaway Survivors come in various shapes and sizes. From spoiled noble men to brave kids, they are scattered across all four corners of the island. The vast majority, if not all, are accessible through progression in the main story so if you need to find more survivors to reveal a new area, progress through with the main story missions to achieve this quicker.
A lot of the Castaway Survivors bring additional benefits to your camp. Some can craft you new clothes and weapons while other offer items at discounted prices. It’s worth gathering every Castaway Survivor you can find so if you see someone in need of aid, be sure to lend a hand.

Laxia
Laxia joins the village through the main story in Chapter 1
Captain Barbaros
Captain Barbaros joins the village through the main story in Chapter 1
Sahad
Sahad joins the village through the main story in Chapter 1
Dogi
Dogi joins the village through the main story in Chapter 1
Alison (The Tailor)
Alison joins the village through the main story in Chapter 2
Sir Carlan & Kiergaard (The Doctor)
Sir Carlan & Kiergaard joins the village through the main story in Chapter 2
Catherine (The Blacksmith)
Catherine joins the village through the main story in Chapter 2. She can be found on the Distant Roar Shore map.
Sister Nia
You can find Sister Nia during Chapter 2 at the Great Canyon Valley. It’s underneath the waterfall in the dark cave.
Hummel
During Chapter 2 you will encounter Hummel multiple times. Eventually, when you encounter him here, he will join your crew.
Dina (Merchant)
Dina can be found on the far East of the island, Sunrise Beach. She’s part of the main story progression in Chapter 2.
Aaron
Aaron can be found during Chapter 2. Head to the East side of the map, Schlamm Jungle. You need to be able to clear insect nests.
Reja (Farmer)
Another character that joins you during Chapter 2. Head to Longhorn Coast and speak with the young man on the beach. He’ll ask you to find his savior. Head South East to another green ? and you’ll see Piccard, a small gerbil like creature.
Miralda (Cook)
Can be found during chapter 2. You will need 10 people to clear the area to get to Miralda. This is in the foggy forest with the smaller dinosaurs. There is a path that leads up to a blocked area and once you clear it she is there along with a new camp.
Licht
This is one you can’t miss and you get towards the end of chapter 2.
Kuina
Story related joins the village at the start of chapter 3.
Ricotta
Your next party member and someone you can’t miss. You get her during chapter 3.
Austin (Artist)
You can find Austin during Chapter 3 after you meet up with him after you find Ricotta. He is an artist and wants to know about the locations you have found on the island.
