Driveclub
Drive club is another game brought to us by the producer of Motorstorm. This time, however, Evolution Studios enable us to drive realistic sports cars. In drive club, there is a big focus on the social aspects. The game lets us socialize with real or virtual friends in order to create, as the title suggests, clubs. After you join a club, every race you compete in is counter into your clubs points to put you in a ranking. Its not only about who wins and who losses, though. The races are made to be fun for everyone. Points can be gathered by driving in a certain way, attacking and pushing other players or doing various kinds of side quests. You don’t have to worry about getting bored with the game when you find yourself at the very end. There is always something for you to do and a way to help your team win. The game had really good graphics. The developers concentrated on the looks of the cars, both on the inside and on the outside, and thus provided us with highly detailed textures of cars. The game was published in two versions. One of them is a typical publication, paid and in a box, but the second one is available for free for those who have PlayStation Plus. This version is, however, limited in a certain way. The Gameplay is not to original. Drive Club will not probably be able to become Sony’s Forza. The clubs system is very interesting, but the rules of the game and points can be quite confusing, so not everyone is going to enjoy the game. Another original thing about Drive Club is that it’s all played from first player perspective. We truly do feel like the driver. We walk around the parking lot, open the doors and enter the car as we would in real life, and then we can control the car as if we really were inside.
